Dr Mark Tie

Dr Mark Tie

Dr Mark Tie trained in radiology at the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota (USA). Having been born in Malaysia, and then completing medical school in Ireland, Dr Tie has truly international experience and perspective.

As one of the first teleradiologists in Australia, Dr Tie provided services through GlobalRad Australia to radiologists at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio from 2000 to 2009.

He was previously a Senior Consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, a Clinical Lecturer at the Adelaide University Medical School, and Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology for Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr Tie is a member of the RANZCR eHealth Reference Group, and is also an assessor for the National Association of Testing Authorities. His specialty interests are musculoskeletal ultrasound, teleradiology implementation and quality assurance, the use of computers in radiology, and urologic and oncology imaging.

Dr Khimseng Tew

Dr Khimseng Tew

Dr Khimseng Tew was born in Singapore and grew up in Adelaide. He graduated with a MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery) from the University of Adelaide in 1994, and commenced radiology training in 1998 at the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, NSW. He returned to Adelaide in 2001 to complete his training at the Queen Elizabeth and Lyell McEwin Hospitals. 

Dr Tew also currently consults as a part-time staff specialist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he is actively involved in radiology registrar training. In addition to his general diagnostic and interventional radiology skills, Dr Tew’s special interests are MRI, chest imaging, abdominal imaging and musculoskeletal imaging.
